Homelessness in America!

I think it's sad how america can help countless homeless overseas but neglect the growing concern of homeless in america.  We really need to be taking a closer look at american homelessness and address those issues before helping others outside the USA. Take a look at this craigslist ad about the homeless where I live.

Cafe Escapes Rocks!

I have decided to post about my experiences.  I recently joined https://www.bzzagent.com.  I took part in a Cafe Escapes review kit and it rocks! I love the smooth sweet flavor and my kids love that they offer hot chocolate also.  Its like a hot chocolate but with a somewhat coffee flavor. I love the vanilla one the best and my friends enjoyed tasting and talking about how wonderful they are.

Where do you find common ground with your teenage daughter?

Just recently my 15 year old daughter did something to get into hot water She ended up grounded for 30 days (I think she got off easy). She is grounded from her cell phone, the intranet, staying nights out with anyone and talking to boys. She constantly tries to lay on the massive guilt trips about letting her talk on the phone to one boy in particular and we keep saying no. She says you don't understand this guy is different. I just told her firmly and politely that she should have thought about that before she did what she did to get grounded in the first place and that she has no one to blame but herself. I feel I am doing what I think is right on teaching her that some rules are not meant to be bent or broken, especially one as important as the one she broke majorly.

What is the secret of life?

The secret is there is no secret. Life is what you make of it. If you keep a positive attitude towards life then positive things will happen to you. On the other hand, if you are negative then negative things will happen to you. It takes more energy to frown than to smile, therefore its easier to be optomistic. I know that sometimes it is hard to be optamistic, especially when your teen-age daughter is saying what is wrong with my room being messy i have to live with it not you. or you can't tell me what i can do with my cell phone when i pay for the cell service. Yeah life throws you curve balls, its all in how you deal with it.

Precious Memories

Well, i don't know much about blogging but here goes. I have been married for 8+years. I am a stay at home mom of 4 precious children. They are ages 5-15. 3 girls and 1 boy. My youngest is starting kindergarden this year and my oldest is starting 10th grade. My two oldest have driving permits. I would like this blog to be about children. discussions, ads, anything that are a precious memory.
